Baby Is Here!

Greetings/assalamu alaikum, yes baby is here! Me and baby are healthy. Made it through the labor and delivery with no meds! But man it was hard! I think that was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.

Anyway, please continue to make dua, the pediatrician wants to do some tests for some chromosomal abnormalities as she said there was some facial features she didn’t like, and also because thoes tests weren’t done when I was pregnant, due to the lateness of finding out about the pregnancy. So although he seems really alert and healthy to me, well, let’s just say I’m trying not to worry. But please make dua.

I’m feeling much better today, a bit sore, no actually quite sore lol, and still a bit tired, but glad the baby’s here! I don’t have pictures as of yet but Inshallah soon! The baby weighed 6 pounds 4 ounces, he was 18 inches long, and born at 4:30 PM yesterday. He seems to be a pretty happy and alert baby, but then again he’s only like a day old lol.

I’m still trying to get the nursing thing down, and part of the problem for me is being afraid that I’ll hurt him. Inshallah, I’ll get things down soon.

Anyway, sorry for the disjointed post. Please make dua and keep us in your thoughts/prayers.

He seems perfect to me lol,no matter what they may find, though Inshallah, everythingis OK with him.

Congratulations on your new baby! And good job on the labor. With my 2nd I didn’t have any drugs until the end – it is a really trying experience, but so worth it, yes? As a new mom, you may like this link: It’s called a Mom’s Guide to Caring for Little Teeth (http://www.1dental.com/moms-guide/).
